wow, how ignorant you are, meaning rude AND uneducated.
i am a single mom, not by choice, but by circumstances. You see, my husband died.
I have me a good man now, that i am fine with not marrying, I don't make him take care of my child, and for the record, we(single mom's) don't MAKE any man do ANYTHING.
You need to tell your mom how you feel, you need a spanked bottom.
Immature, stupid, stupid man.
I actually feel bad for you, with that bias attitude, you could miss out on a real relationship,with someone who has an 'already made family'. kinda lets you off the hook.

Depends on the women. If she is some stray who is just looking for a sucker to pay her bills don't even get involved with her cause all she will do is saddle you with all her problems. And in some states you can actually become liable for her children s welfare. Which is a definite no no. However if she is a life long friend and you know her very well. Try it out. But in either case i'd be weary of the woman. Women can become evil after they've had children by one man and he leaves them. They will not respect you and they'll treat you with less respect than either their own children or their children s bio father making you the odd man out. To be honest i'd stay away from long term relationships altogether. Especially with American women. They all typically end up alone by the time they are 27. That should tell you something about them.

After a research, 1.- there are more reason to stay away 2.- all smart man advise is stay away single mom. Not a single woman here have give any good reason why a man should even look at single mom. As a man I understand (one night thing = a date). After you meet and talk to single mom you will understand brats, man trapper, mileage, etc.

Number one i was in no way looking for anyone to take care of my children because i can do it on my own. A man trapper please dear if you want me you come and talk to me i dont talk to you. Lots of milage to being with- I was with one person when i got pregnant and then 1 more then i married. Make someone marry me please you want to marry me you have to show the commitment to myself and my child. Im not putting a gun to his head saying marry me. Im not desperate. Open for one night things I never was even when i didnt have kids that is just nasty.

My issue with single/divorced moms is they want a man to help out financially with their kids and to help raise their kids, babysit, them etc but if the kids acts out or is disrespectful and you bring it up to her because she's not disciplining the kid she will fly off the handle and turn on you and turn her kid on you and discard you in a hot minute and tell you her kid is perfect. Single moms have no loyalty or respect generally for men who aren't the bio fathers of their kids. They just want to use them for whatever they need to survive because they made a bad choice with the first guy. This is just my experience. Don't do it.

Its a game of odds dude. about 2/3rds of single moms are freakin psycho. You learn very quickly why they are single moms. The other 1/3 are worth the effort, but you gotta go slow and find out whats goin on in thier life. Stay away from the girl that constantly talks about the ex or says the ex is in prison. Also, if SM still has a bunch of her Ex's stuff, it means that he is coming back and you are just a place holder.

I have custody of my son....& I am not trying to TRAP or have anyone take care of my son. & WHY SHOULD I OR THEY BE OPEN TO ONE NIGHT "THINGS"? Sorry man...... but you need to grow up and act your age and not your shoe size!

Well if your just looking for one night stands, then you should generally stay away from women with a conscience...lol. Not just single moms. It takes a certain kind of woman to be interested in one night flings (at a certain point in their lives).

The vast majority of single moms I have met are very selfish people and full of drama. Most (not all) chased the father of their kids away for a reason. Sure they won't hesitate to post on Facebook what a great person they are, how happy they are, what a great mom they are, how great their kids are, what an unselfish person they are, etc. It's all a lie to look good. You will find the opposite is true with most of these single moms. Oh yeah they are also broke and have no time for you unless you are offering them something (money, groceries, help with their kids, need help fixing something, etc) Save your energy for someone nice with less baggage. you deserve better.
