Try hairball medicine in the grocery store. My cats do the same thing. I usually give them hairball medicine and they are OK again. If hair and fur is in their stomachs and intestines they cannot digest this and it makes them throw their food up. Cats need fresh food and water about 3 times a day. That is how often I change my cat's water and food. Also, a little catnip goes a long way in helping the kitty digestion. NO Pepto Bismol! OK?

NO!! Take him to the vet immediately. An animal throwing up a lot is the number one sign of something seriously wrong!!!
If it is something like a twisted stomach (which is very common) he may only have a matter of hours to have it taken care of before the loss of blood to organs becomes to severe.
Again call your vet! If he is just mildly throwing up you may just need to buy him some hairball medication which is fairly cheep and available in any pet store, it is usually flavored and can be added to the cats regular food.

No don't give human medicine to cats because it can be deadly for them. Keep food away from the cat for 4 hrs. Call the vet if the cat keeps vomiting because it could be a serious problem and dehydration can occur.

OMG....NO!!!
First.....consult a vet!!!
You should never give your animal products formulated for human consumption. Their digestive tracts are not the same as ours.
You may want to initially change his diet or his throwing up may be the result of a changed diet. Just take a look as to what changes your cat may be experiencing to cause his upset stomach.
Did you just move?
Was his food fresh?
Did you feed him table food?
Did he get hold of a poisonus household plant?
Good luck !!!
