dude, you're young. The 30's are the new 20's anyway.
Your only as young as you feel- so stop tripping.
I can definetly relate though- I'm 39 and just found some gray hairs. I'm starting to practice the whole 'age gracefully' thing now.

Okay - take a deep breath! You're in your 30th year already. Tell yourself this every day. "I am in my 30th year!" And then remember, with pleasure, that you're only 29!
By the time you're 30, you will have become acclimatized and it won't be so scary.
Then also, think to yourself. Would you really want to be any younger? You know so much more, are so much more experienced than those callow youths! Would you really want to give up the knowledge you've gained? (Hopefully, you'll so "no" here!) m
Also bear in mind two things. You're not facing 40 (although that too ill come). And you're lucky enough to still be alive to be 30. Many aren't.
Cheers - concentrate on your party. And aren't your friends and family lucky to have had you arond for 30 years? Well, 29, anyway,

I got to 30 - & one of my mates said I was "over the hill". However, I'm now in my mid 30's, so you've got nothing to worry about. There are people nearing 40 & THAT's more of a dilemma than 30!!!

Many years ago I felt the same about turning thirty, I thought that being thirty was getting old. I never worried about being forty though. Now I'm 44 I look back and laugh about it.
I have more fun and freedom and less responsibilities now than I did then

Why are you worried? You should celebrate your birthday instead of dread it. You think 30 is old, that it is the end of your youth, but to all of us that are older than you, 30 is young. Age is relative. You are still young and should enjoy life. Don't dread your thirties! You should still have fun. You are much too young to feel "old."
Good luck!

Turning 30 was scary for me but it has turned out to be the best time in my life and wouldn't want to go back to my 20's. You'll love it...
