He's just not that into you!
And further more he's using you to fall back on like a " plan B ". You are allowing him to do this, hoping for more and he's not going to give you more. If in 10 months he hasn't, he's not going to.
This is not nice and not a healthy relationship for you. You could , can and do deserve better as a person.
If you really enjoy him sexually, make him your "plan B ", for when you don't have anything better to do.
You might also try being less available to him. Seems he can have you when ever he wants, so your no big deal and he only wants you when he has nothing better to do.
good luck!

You have become a the back-up it sounds like. Which, if that is the case, DON'T be that anymore. Ask him what he thinks "this" is, or how he sees you. Or tell him that you aren't into just hooking up with him.
Also, not to be the total downer here... but if he is hooking up with other people and you guys aren't using any protective measures... then you are risking getting some funk. And a guy who is wishy washy with you is not worth the heartache and potential other complications. Kick him to the curb and find a nice guys who is all about U.
Good luck!

What should you do?
Realize that you have proven my grandmother right when she told us, "Why would a man buy a cow when he can get the milk for free?"
Darling, he is using you for casual sex and dating. If you want more than that, tell him. If you're letting him stick his tab in your slot, you should feel comfortable enough to tell him what you want. If you don't, that's a sign that you already know you've made a mistake. Learn from it for the next guy and be more cautious about giving them sex without any girlfriend status.

Maybe he has a dissertation that he's working on, you know. like for a pHD in borderline anthropology or quantum reactive metaphysics and the art of dual logic systems or something. He sounds EXTREMELY BRIGHT, by the way. I would be HONORED just to be in the same room as him. I'm sure you feel that too.

Don't talk to him for around 2 days and see if his attitude changes
It seems like it is time to move on, but don't short change yourself, unless you are in a commited relationship then become active

Why you would do that with a guy is beyond me. In my opinion, dump the guy and get a new one that doesn't want just a night in bed with you.

Start making yourself unavailable. Do not live your life to HIS schedule. He calls and wants to go out or have sex, say your busy and he needs to call back later. Then go out. To the public library, anywhere, just don't be home.

Ask him. If he avoid answering then I'd say dump him. You can find nicer guy who'll want to at least acknowledge you as his gf.

why do you sleep with him if he is sending mixed messages. ask him what he wants or expects. if his expectations are something you cannot deal with, quit sleeping with him.

All you have is a "friend" with benefits. He is using you. Dump him.
