I am not a US Citizen (but am about 2 inches away from my green card), and just wanted to know if I can travel to Puerto Rico with my wife (canadian) on my drivers license?

Soon you will need a passport to travel by plane from state to state. But I believe that currently traveling with a license will suffice. Bring a back up id to be on the safe side.

You will not need a passport if you are doing your traveling before January 23, 2007.

Most people think that the passport rule takes place Jan. 1 2007... but that is incorrect. If your traveling is taking place after that date...please apply for the expedited passport process, which still may take a while and cost more money!!!
