Im 13 and want my belly button done . should i?

Im 13 years old i am in grade eight and really really want my belly button done . But i dont have a flat stomach so.. how can i get one and also what age do you think should get there belly button periced? and what should i get put in a ring or bar bell ?? please help thanks :):)

well most places wont pierce you. since you are under 16. even if your parents are with you and you are there they will say no. you will need to be at least 16 years old. do not ever attempt to do it yourself either! it doesnt matter if you have a flat stomach or not. its a piercing just for you., noone needs to know about it or judge you for it.
if somewhere does it for you now at this place they are not reptable. you will need a legal parent or gaurdian to go with you and they will need to sign off papers fro you.

they usually put ina barbell since rings are harder to heal

if you get it done know your body is still growing you will be more at risk for the jewelry migrating or rejecting. leaving you navel very scarred and distorted.. wait till you are aolder and you are done growing...

you will need to take care of it alot are you responsible enough to do so? they can take up to a year to fully hela. mine is 6 months old and it is still healing..


but you will need to talk to a parents and see if you are even allowed to get pierced. but most places wont do it until you are atleast 16 some places might make you wait till you are even 18...


and i never got one cause it "was cool" i got it form yself and i dont care what peopel think of it.. peopel dont get piercings just cause :its cool: if they do then they shouldnt get one at all. peopel get piercings caus eit is their preference and itis what they want. they dont get them just cause others have them and they are :the thing to do" thats lame...

and they dont leave bad scars. yeah the hole may stay open for a few years and it isnt appealing when the jewelry is out but the holes will close eventullya there will just be a small dot on the navel where the jewelry once was.. noone will be able to see it unless they are examining your stomach for some reason.lol

If you want to give it a try just to see if you like it and your parents approve since you are a minor then try it. If you don't like it after all you might have scars but if it's done right and doesn't get infected they shouldn't be too big. A round ring or horse shoe shape is best for the healing because you can move it easier, a bar ball is straight so you wouldn't put that in your belly button anyway. Check with your parents and do some research. Do not do it yourself, infection or some other fault that a professional could have avoided is bound to set in if you do a home piercing kit.

you'll have to wait til you're old enough legally (16 or 18 depending on state and your parents). unless u wanna do it urself which i dont recommend. if its what you want then go for it but at your age your skin will shift and move as you grow so it might not be central by the time ur fully grown, but at least you can just take it out and let it heal if you dont like it.

I'm 13 and know that a lot of people have been wanting one lately,but its so not cool anymore.Ur only 13 and if you take it out,it will leave bad scares.Plus,you said you didn't have a flat stomach which means you show off ur stomach which means there will be no point in piercing it.Hope you make the right decision.

dont do it!!!
if you do youll either have the ring for you life or the scar.
you have a whole life time ahead of you and you dont want to do something you may regret later.
maybe wait ill your like twenty.
youll probably grow up, get a flat tummy then make the decision

wait a few more years your body is still growing and by then you may have a flat stomach...and the legal age for A GOOD PARLOUR is 18 so you will have to wait! and they will pierce with a hoop cuz its easier to clean!!!
