How can we believe that there was ever this perfect world? Everything can kill you. Everything has killed somebody at some time in history and if it hasn't it will. Even in Eden could there ever have been a time when Adam did not have to worry about tripping and splitting his head open on a rock?

Even if Adam didn't eat from the tree wouldn't he have still died eventually?

God protected them. he would have done the same with Adam, but he sinned. now there is death. it is hard for the human mind to even try to imagine a perfect world becks of where we live.

If Adam didnt eat the fruit from the tree he stayed in perfectness and sickness, old age, death would not came with his sin of disobedience.

Yes, Adam can avoid accidents. In full possession of his faculties, with alertness of all his senses, a man will have no serious accidents. Look at the animals in their natural habitat. The bat, with his “sonar” equipment, flies in the dark, unerringly avoiding objects even as fine as a piano wire. A bird comes in to a perfect landing on a limb or twig. They are equipped fully for the life they live, and they enjoy living. With stronger reasoning we can be assured that man, being superior to the animals, Adam was perfectly at home in his environment.

The world is a hostile environment that isn't conducive to long term species survival so if there was an intelligent designer he had his mind on a long term plan that didn't include our puny species that will have come and gone in the blinking of an eye.

Well, you can believe there is a god or there is none, but one thing is for sure: the world is full of waste, imperfection, injustice, suffering, and death, along with life, beauty, happiness, and wonder. Either it was created that way or it evolved that way. But there is no Eden and there never was. There is no such thing as perfection without any flaw.

There is a difference between individual death and the death of a species. We are made of fragile flesh and bones, therefore individually we will die. When the planet is such that it cannot sustain the survival of a species, that is real doom.

If you are living for the Lord, you don't have to worry about how and what will kill you-because you know where your final destination will be--eternity with the Father.

the Christians believe that humans were immortal back then and they couldn't die. There were no carnivores or diseases. I'm agnostic though.
