Yes, because it is the same motion that happens if there is someone to hear it, When this same thing happens, there is still sound if you were there, but as you were not, the sound went unheard. Hearing a sound doesn't make it a sound. The vibrations still happen, the vibrations don't stop and think,"ahh, theres no-one here to hear us, dont worry about it' Do they, Think About it.

No. The definition of "sound" is "that which is HEARD, resulting from stimulation of auditory nerves by vibrations (blah blah)." It may make sound waves, but if there is no one around to collect the vibrations, thus to HEAR the tree fall, then it cannot make a sound.

heard it. yeah, it still makes a sound, because if they're is a tree the same size, and it falls, and people are around to hear it. Its no different.

There will still be a disturbance in the force but it will not be felt. Except of course if there happens to be a bear doing #2 when the tree fell.
