bull terriers are not common dogs and they do not come cheap. unless you get lucky and find one in a shelter/rescue you should be prepared to pay $1000+ for one from a good breeder.
yes, you could get one for $400 but that will be from a backyard breeder/puppy miller and the parents would have had no health testing done.

Also try your local Fleamarket, we got 4 dogs form there and they ROCK. Also, try your local humane socity. They have amny needy dogs for adoption :)
