I am 21 and most people tell me that I look like I am 16 or 17 sometimes youger. I know this will come in handy when I reach 30 or 40 but right now I dont think It is such a good thing. I am a pretty girl but guys dont usually ask me out unless its a good friend who is just a friend for a reason!

hey you should enjoy looking youthful hun! i was the same until i hit 20 and then aged very quickly and now get told i look older than i am which is much worse! ... besides, you want a man that loves you for whats inside as well as outside, so have a little more confidence in yourself and men will find it hard to resist you! good luck :)

im 21 and i look about 16 as well. i get asked for proof of age every time i go out with friends.
all the boyfriends i have had have been friends first, maybe thats what u could try to do so that they can get to know you and see that you dont ACT like a 16/17 year old.

If they see you sitting in a bar with a drink in your hand, they'll know you're not 16 or 17. if you act mature, do mature things, dress mature, they will THINK you're mature. And looking younger than you are can only be a good thing.

Get a university education. You'll increase your chances of getting asked out. Works like a charm.

yes this could keep men from approaching you, try to go places or events where you have to be a certain age. or converse and carry yourself in such a way that they have no choice but to see your maturity

Well it depends, they might think you are jail bait? Never know, maybe you should try looking a little bit older. Like more mature. That might do the trick. Like more reserved clothes or bigger purses, or something else.

Suggest you watch an episode of "What Not To Wear". People may just think you are still in High School because of what you are wearing and how you apply your make up.

You should look your age, because if you are 40 and try to look 20ish, you would just look bad, so go with the flow, and be yourself, but don't look sloppy, or like your trying to relive the glory days

All guys like different things. Some like the young look some like older looking. Personally, I like chubby girls. Everybody likes different things.

I know how you feel! I look younger than my age. I think if your in a mall guys that are ur age won't even look at you.
