Okay, I looked in the mirror two days ago and my eye was pink around the corners, and I've had the flu, a cold, and a cough since Christmas. I read up on it and Viral Pink Eye is often accompanied by symptoms of the common cold. My eye hasn't been discharging any clear liquid for about a day and my parents haven't caught anything yet, so I'm wondering if there's things you can do to keep people from getting it because I really really really really want to go to the movies today....?

It is possible you have it. Your eye will actually have a pink look to it, like you said it does. It is very contagious if you do!

Try googling Symtoms of Pink Eye on www.google.com. Click on a website and if you have at least 3 out of 4 symptoms then I wouldn't go to the movies. That's what I did when I had pink eye and I didn't go to school. If you have pink eye then it is contagious for 24-72 hours if medicated. Have your parents go to Walgreens or Wal-mart and get an eye drops.

you need antibiotics...otherwise it won't go away an could eventually lead to blindness. Remember that with viruses, there is a gestation period where it takes a few days for someone else's body to develop the virus they caught from you. Just because it's been two days and your parents are fine..doesn't mean they wont both have it next week. Please don't go in public places and give your germs to us!

Did you get a rx for it?! it is not going to bypass away via itself! you will desire to get to the wellness care expert so he/she would provide you drops! different than that, there isn't any thank you to conceal it or make your eye look white! Sorry, expensive!

Don't touch your eye. Wash your hands frequently, because you're GOING to touch your eye even if you don't notice it. Don't touch anyone else, but make sure the people you are with wash their hands often, too...just in case. You shouldn't pass it along.
