Got an email from a professional contact who says that "all of your letters are para avalon." Not quite sure how to respond to that one yet ....

like someone else report4ed, it's "air mail"...it's come to mean simply first-class mail (the fastest) rather than parcel-post or 3rd class mail.

Could it mean
por avión = by airmail
as the word avalon makes no sense, or maybe
avalúo/avaluar = valuation, appraisal

Touche would be an excellent response. In fencing there is thrust and parry and the point is scored with a legal touch. That doesn't mean you won the match but recognition that your excellent response resulted in a point. Touched love would be love returned or an excellent response to being loved.

"para" in spanish is "for", but i don't know...maybe avalon is a person??

Hmm.... Sounds like it might be latin. "Para" is spanish but I don't know the rest. But you can always try asking him! O_o
