Peeps has the best idea, but I would use gel before braiding the hair. My daughter does this all the time and she's soooo gorgeous.

I use gel. Heres another tip after a shower DON"T brush your hair. I know it sounds wrong but right after the shower put some gel in ur hair and put a big t-shirt or sumthing on the counter or toilet seat then put the upper part of the-shirt on ur hair put the lower part on ur hair hen grab both sleeves and twist it once ur done twisting, tie it in the back. this makes it easier to choose ur clothes, put on makeup and n-e-thing else u need to do. doing this will keep ur hair wavy and it will look like a healthy sort of wet and it doesn't drip!

I would reccomend using john friend's frizzease curly shampoo and conditioner. I currently use the straight ahead one and it great and could live without it, so i would imagine the curly one is as good too.
Ive heard not to brush your hair when its wet as it makes it frizzy, but to comb it instead, thats what i do. Also, when you towel dry your hair, just dab it instead of rubbing it and this helps to control the frizz.
I used to have permed hair and i always let it dry naturally instead of blow drying it, it looked much better. Also i used to put moose on my curly hair whilst wet and keep scrunching itup with your hands.
Apart from that i not too sure. Hope you get the hair you want. Good luck!

You can try French-braiding it, but here's what I do...

while your hair's still wet, put it up in at least 2 buns, depending on how thick your hair is (I have pretty thick hair, but I use 2 buns because it holds pretty well). This takes a while to dry, but once it does, take down the buns and use sprunch spray (Aussie) to help give it more definition.

my suggestion is to put mousse in ur hair, and as u blow dry ur hair....scrunch it a whole lot. and use a curling iron of many sizes. i think that'll look good. if not braid it, or use a crimper.

put some anti frizz cream or syrum in it and make sure it gets all over and then put a softer mousse in it and let it curl the way it naturally does.

apply some gel or moose and scrunch it for a while... or after applying gel or moose use a hair dryer with a diffuser and gently scrunch your hair
