Love them, write them alot (or email/phone) and hope for that ring! Its hard, but they need your support, especially when they are homesick. There were times that my guy said he'd have quit if I only asked it of him. I loved him too much to ever say those words, but I was tempted alot. Seperation is hard, especially when its by choice. Now as a military spouse its still hard, but at least he comes back to me after a deployment and I know how much I matter to him. We had almost a year long distance before we were married and together. It was hard, but we made it work. Just support her and keep in touch alot.
