WHAT IS POOR IN BIBLE STUDY

Being constantly distracted, does not mean one is poor.

The reading raises a question, this is a distraction, but a good learning tool when dealt with properly.
Keep paper and pen handy, write down the question, finish the part to
be studied and learn how much that is each time.
I have to have a bible I can write in to make real progress.
Ask the bible questions, let the bible answer your questions.
Give thanks for every ounce of knowledge, ask for constant help to get it right as God knows it.
Things are scattered in the bible, same names spelled different as languages change O.T. 1110 years, done 443 before Christ, N.T. 50 to 100 after Christ to 1611 published.
King David Study:
Ruth 4:18-22; 1Chr.3:1-17; Matt.1:1-7; Genealogy of Christ Jesus Gen.12:4; Abraham #20 Son, 1Ki.2:10,11; David #34 son, Eze. 1:2; 2Ki.25:8; Jehoiachin at Promised Land desolate, temple destroyed in Babylon Empire #3 captivity 606 B.C. Roman Empire #6 and Christ son #62.

Plan you work, and work your plan. 2Tim.2:15; Collect scriptures on each subject and compare them.
Many blessing to you.

When anyone who prays to god for success in studies, he already knows how to go about doing his studies. You see, when we pray we do what is requred to do as God teaches. We would not behave like a sitting duck, do no studies after the prayer. Miracles will happen if the poor in studies starts to mark up or do studies even though he knows he is poor in studies. Because he has prayed, he seems to have gained God's favour and he would get through his studies. You can hear many testimonies from many who have such an experience. Jesus said to his disciples, he would send his holy spirit to them, and when he comes, he will bring them to all truth. So those who pray will certainly get through though he is poor in studies.

Ask Him to show you the way to discipline yourself to study.

I've been told this: Do all you can on your own of things you can do, and then leave the rest to God.

Study. Prepare. Take the time to hit the books. After you have done all you can, then turn to God and ask Him to help you.

Sure, God can give you all the right answers. But, He doesn't work that way. He loves you so much, that He, like a parent, wants you to learn something.

If self discipline in study is a way to learn, He wants you to study.

It goes in cooperation with diligence and a desire to change. Too often the concept 'Let go let God' takes us out of the responsibility. Pray diligently to change, and then make the efforts do to so. Perhaps it is changing your study habits, but couple that with earnestly asking for wisdom from God to show you how to be a better student.

Study in short time periods and take breaks. Allow yourself to relax between those study periods. Use a variety of study mediums, write notes, place notes on your refrigerator and mirror, tape record things that you need to memorize, and discuss class materials during lunch and meals with friends in the classes. Then Pray to the FATHER thru HIS SON and ask for HIS ASSISTANCE in test taking and memorization of materials. GOD will assist if it be HIS WILL. He has the ability to do anything if we ask in HIS SON's NAME. Our GOD is an awesome GOD!! Read, study, and obey the FATHER's WORD. Have a great day.

Pray for more discipline and apply it.

Work is something that is emphasized all over bible.

Spend more time on your studies, ask your teachers for help and use whatever honest resources available to you.

Just ask. He knows what your looking for. Try to remember that the answer you receive is not always what you desire. My guess is that he/she is not going to inflate your studying skills for you; but in asking, the path to being a better student is often illuminated.

you are responsible for your own intellect. these days it seems like people view 'god' as some sort of genie that grants them the most inane of wishes.
"success" doesn't simply fall upon people who sit there talking to them selves.
school is cool!

Ask God to open your mind to learning the good knowledge that He wants in your mind. Ask Him for eyes to see and ears to hear so you can discern good and evil. Use your own words and do not doubt, believing that God will do what you asked.

Skip the useless praying and try studying instead.

If you stay at it, you'll learn something. You'll not only pass all of your courses but also become wise enough to qualify as an Atheist.
