It depends on what the meal is,if its a nice juicy burger with french fries that are deep fried no, if its something that is lean like a salad or soup yes.

Hi, My baby is 5 weeks now and I was a similar weight to you before and throughout my pregnancy. I'm still working to lose my pregnancy pounds but I have tried the special K diet before - it does work but in a similar way to slimfast - you lose weight because you're only eating about 250cals for breakfast and lunch which is less than most sandwiches etc. I would be STARVING only eating a bowl of cereal each day and I would get bored of it quickly, if you're the same why not stick to that calorie allowance but alternate days of cereal breakfast and lunches with meals of similar calorie values? e.g. a bowl of soup, fruit and a yogurt.

I have a friend who did this diet before his holiday and it worked for him. Obviously you should eat a sensible meal alongside the cereal. Cant see it working if you eat a KFC family bucket washed down with beer or similar!!!

It makes sense that it could. I would however, prefer to go on the subway diet over that one (dry cereal just doesnt cut it ).
There are so many diets out there. Dont choose the ones you get to see on TV. it is best to ask a nutritionist , a dietitian or your favorite family doctor.

I've lost 5 kilos in my first week. It's my 10th day and I have included salad with some protein (eg. egg/ lean chicken) as you suggested. After 4 years of trying, the fat is finally coming off. It truly feels like magic!

Get started today!

if you cut your calories down you would lose weight eating less. its a big con to get you to buy special k, . i would sooner lose weight eating proper food. cant imagine sitting down to dinner and having a bowl of cereal while my family tucks into real food.

YES!!! it is very possible. The fiber content and the amount of calcium consumption will help your body burn off that fat stores. The fiber will keep you full all day and keep pushing out all the bad by-products your body stores.

You lose weight anytime you burn more calories then you take in.
