I don't have a clue what to get. I don't want anything like a playboy bunny or anything like that. I want something meaningful. I'm a girl, and I'm very small framed...Does anyone have any ideas? I wanted one for a long time and I have no idea what to get.

If you don't have a clue what to get, don't get it. Really, you should probably decide on a design before you decide on placement because remember the permanency of a tattoo. That being said, can I just say that getting on there is going to hurt like hell! I have two, the one on my back was pain-free, the one just above my hip hurt tremendously so!

You want to get a tattoo on your pelvis and you have no idea what you want.
With all due respect, it does rather sound like the imaginative cart is firmly before the realistic horse.
I suggest you try a few out - there are places where you can get the henna tattoos - temporary - try out a few different designs and see how you feel about them. Then when you find something you really like, you can take the next step.
Sounds rather like deciding you want to get married, so you look around to see if there is someone you like.

I got a small heart on my pelvis when I was 18. I love it and all but since then I have had a child and gained weight. The tat is not so pretty now, as it is larger than before and covered in stretch marks. I never thought of weight being a issue when I got it. Just something to think of.

Well, I have a few ideas to share with you. Before that though, get something YOU want because it represents whom you are. For the pelvis area, go for something that goes from one side to the other, kind of tribal. Or, do a heart shape with flames and thorns wrapped around it. You could also go with a butterfly drawn manga(Japanese) style. Maybe a running Tiger in black-light neon reflective colors! I'm sure you'll find something that says it's all yours and yours alone!! Whatever you do, DON'T get someone's name or have a word or phrase put on yourself!!!

If you plan on having any babies you might want to choose another spot. I know a woman who had a butterfly on her pelvis and when she got pregnant one wing got distorted.
