Thats the ONLY merit it has. Funny thing is, ID seems to have created everything EXCEPT God, although it appears to be the only thing that explains his origins.

yes but it is probably far far different from the Hebrew God. Life shows us in neutrality. The universe is not pure chaos yet it is not pure order. I also doubt the real God looks like an old bearded man. Probably a being of pure light or energy.

Mabye supernatural beings are something we imagine based on the hierarchy of the animal kingdom.
Mabye seems like such an unneccecary word, because we can imagine, but what good does that do us if we can't prove.

I don’t think so. I know for a fact that I am not capable of creating anything that magnificent, that loving, even in my imagination.
As to ID, we should not demean God by bringing him down to the level of human science. Please keep Faith and science separate. God is beyond our understanding and by trying to involve him in our understanding of science, we only diminish God.
