I don't think it serves any purpose it's just hormones gone haywire. Just remove it because it's not a pretty sight. Happy New Year.

Hair in general on our bodies is to protect us from outside toxins. Hair catches dust and other toxins that might be harmful or annoying to our bodies once they get inside. That's why you have nose hairs and small hairs in your ears and eyebrows and eyelashes and even the hair on your head and skin. It's all to catch irritants before they get into your body. Your vagina is a very precious place on your body if you think about it reproductively. Your body has two main functions. To survive and reproduce. Well, a vagina needs to stay healthy in order to serve its purpose, so hair is there to protect it as much as possible. Hope that helped.

All these people are sorta right. the hair in your ears is to help u maintain balance believe it or not. thats y if u spin around too much, the hairs in your ears move and u get dizzy. the hair in your nose is to prevent foreign particles from entering your nose. wen something does enter your nose, it tickles the hair and u sneeze. therefore preventing most foreign objects from going any further. hope this helps

it acts like a filter. Dust gets stuck in your nostril hairs and prevents it from going into your body any further. Same for the ears

I'm not sure about ear hair, but I know that nose hair filters dust and dirt before it gets inside you. (That's where boogers come from...)

It's a filter to keep out dust, dirt, debris, and germs.
Same as pubic area and eyes.
