i am a chubby girl my self and i hate my handles and when i am sleepin with my bf i hate to be seen it is just the way i see myself and the way i think others see me

okay coming from a chubby girl some people have just been tortured about weight probably for majority of their lives and then society doesnt make it any better but i find that the older i get the more i like my body i think im very sexy but it takes time when the whole world is focusing on being skinny sometimes you cant help but to feel a bit insecure but eventually they get over it.

Its society. There so many girls and women in the world starving themselves to look like the women on magazine covers and it is just sad. Everybody is different. Not every woman is meant to be a 2,4 or 6. Society makes thick girls feel like if they are not thin then they are ugly and that is just not true. There are a lot of really beautiful plus size models. The average woman is a 12-14(US Misses) and I don't consider that to be plus size. To me, plus size women are a size 18 and up.

That is so true! Basically society has built it up so high that only attractive women are toothpicks so most overweight women are insecure due to this. Also most women have had guys that treat them like dirt and run them down, so we think most guys are like that.
Also, most of us bigger women use to be smaller then our current size so we feel insecure about that. I guess you would just have to be in our shoes to fully understand

I'd say because no one tells them they are attractive and all that. Really, it's just society and it's view of overweight/chubby people. If you think they should be proud tell them that and they'll probably believe you.

Because society has relayed to them via advertising and video that only being exceptionally thin and looking like a malnorished 9 year old is attractive...guess the attractive is limited to the sympathy of wanting to feed them lest they starve to death.
If you are a chubby chaser, hang out in places that they feel most comfortable, like Lane Bryant and Krispy Kreme Doughnuts to snag a date.

not a lot of men like chubby or fat girls. we get teased often so thats where our insecurities come from ... from both men and women.. the media.. everything .. being skinny just to fit into the society

b/c every pretty girl in hollywood is skinny and girls in school who were always popular were skinny and when chubby girls go out with their friends they get pushed aside and not noticed because there are skinny girls around.

they think they have to look like these toothpicks they show on tv, which is far from the truth.......most women think guys want a perfect hard body, but its not true at all
