Just like with People, dogs are individuals.. so it would depend on the dog.
Some dogs would stop when they were full .. and some would eat until they got sick. But I don't see a "mid size" dog consuming all 50 hamburgers.
PS- it is not a good idea to feed your dogs (or any pet) a lot of ground beef .. or 'table scraps'... due to the high fat content. Pacreatitis may result.

Depends on the dog. My lab would eat the hamburgers, the wrappers, and start on the floor if there was any residual ketchup, mayo, or mustard. My hound would eat enough to get full and then hide the rest for later!

I don't know how much they could eat before they had a problem but I watched on "Emergency Vets" a dog that had eaten around two pounds of dog food. The food had swelled in the dogs stomach causing a form of bloat and they had to remove it. So go figure, I think they gorge themselves from their time in the wild where one would have to eat a lot and go several days without.

I have 2 Siberian Huskies. One of them weighs about 90 lbs. and is a real garbage mouth - she will eat ANYTHING if I let her. She would probably eat the hamburgers until she either threw up or blew up. And since she doesn't share very well, I know she wouldn't leave any for my other dog.

I have not a clue. If I had a mid-sized dog, I wouldn't feed it 50 hamburgers.

It depends on the dog and the breed. But most dogs probably would quit when full and probably hid or bury some for later!

I don't think even the biggest hungriest dog would be able to eat them all. A medium sized dog, no way.

It really does depend on the animal. When I first got my pet, she would eat anything you put down to her as fast as she could, and she was very food aggressive. This is mostly because we found her starving to death under a friends porch. Now that we've had her a while, she will eat a little, walk away, and come back to it later.

My 18lb. JRT mix would eat them all in a matter of seconds. My 60lb. Lab mix, on the other hand, would only eat until she was full.
So my answer...it depends on the dog.

My dog will quit when he's full, unless he sees another dog try to finish them up. Then suddenly he'll be hungry again.
