Do you think that having your dream interpreted is the same as getting your palm read by a psychic?

No. Dream interpretation is analyzing your thoughts, because alot of your thoughts convert to your dreams, like dreaming of your parents, who have died.... memories in your memory bank.

Palm reading is a gimmick. I saw a special on TV once, where palm readers pick up on your body language, and tell you what you want to hear. Fortune tellers are the same.

I believe indulging in palm reading, tarot cards, etc. is tampering with satanic spirits, and shouldn't be played with.

But dreams -- analyzing dreams by trained professionals can really help someone who is suffering from emotional distress, the same as sitting down and talking to a shrink about your problems.

Absolutely not, psychic or palm reading based on assumption. But dream interpretation based on experience and symbolization of your dream. It also involves with statistics.

For example :

Palm reader = crooked lines of your hand, they say your personalities are flexible... - assumption

Dream = dream of hand being cut off - symbol of out of control. Dreams reveal your personalities from subconscious mind, while palm doesn't, it is always the same... unlike dreams, becuase they are from your subconsicous mind.

Psychic hotlines are a scam, always. Going to a fortune teller is only sometimes a scam. I've met a couple for real ones, but a lot more fakes. Great entertainment though, and great for a conversation later.

I believe we are all psychic, but for the majority the gift or the belief has been long knocked out of them. Educated out is another way of looking at it. Many professional psychics have grown up in a psychic friendly environment. Perhaps a grand-parent or parent with the knowledge has helped bring the extra sense out in the open and encouraged its use. But there are as many practicing psychics who have not had the benefit of caring psychic guidance and who have still managed to develop and hone this natural extra sense.

Not really. Dreams can sometimes tell us a lot about which issues are bothering us. Occasionally they can even give us insights to our questions because our brains are still working even when we’re sleeping. Repeating themes in our dreams say something about pour personalities.
