I went bankrupt over a year ago and I need to get a new credit card in order to re-establish my credit record. Can anyone recommend a decent card for bad credit? Thanks.. ;-)

Truthfully, I recommend getting a secured credit card. Depending on your credit score and history, you may need to pay a deposit. It usually requires a minimum deposit for $99 or more. A secured credit card gives a you a credit limit of maybe up to $500 (again depending on your credit history and score). It is a good way to try to re-establish your credit history. There are numerous banks that offer secured credit cards. I have two with First Premier Bank. As long as you make your payments on time, you are on your way to re-establishing your credit.

Bad credit is one of the worst problems to have... however there exists a solution.

I will hereby talk from my personal experience.

I did debt consolidation a couple of years ago, however If I had to do it again I would pay to some minor details,
if someone wants to get out of debt today it is pretty easy with a debt consolidation plan, however it may get a bit tricky at times, I suggest you get as much information as possible online on this first,
