I guess it depends on if you need to ask him something. If you dont have a reason to talk with him but just because then I would send a text....(just popped in your day to say i was thinking about you..have a gd day or wanted to make you think about me at least once today) something silly like that. You dont seem needy but at the same time you want to be in his thoughts like he is in yours. works for me all the time!!!

call let it ring three times then hang up if he wants to talk he'll answer in the first two rings if not he'll see you missed call and call you, if its his house phone and he doesnt have caller id DON"T leave a message and call later

if he is comfortable with that name ,just call him.a person is recognised by his nature ,his attitude towards lifeand not by name.name of a person is just like the blueprint of a house but his qualities make him what he is.so go for it

If you are busy the time he said to you, so don't call...
If you are not busy, call him but before you sleep..don't give him much care
