Long story short...I saw this guy for over a year, casually. He just moved away (1 state away) for a job opportunity, but said he wanted to keep in touch. We were keeping in contact but not as much as I like for him anyway. So..I stopped calling/emailing him for a month, just to show him I'm not trying to be needy & that he's not keeping touch, say like no contact for almost 2 months! So..THEN he called me when he didn't hear from me, telling me that is song reminded him of me (that we used to listen to) then he said he met a new girl?! Ok I understand we're friends, used to be intimate, but um ok? Was he trying to see what I really felt about him? Because then he proceeded to tell me that he still wants to go on a vacation w/me & my parents, WTF?!! Is he playing jealousy games?

well, you didn't talk to him for a while, so he doesn't want to look like a loser that's just been obsessed with you the whole time. it sounds like he misses you & a little part of him wants you to go, "...but i want you to be with me, not her." you know what i'm saying?

No, he's playing the game of "What can I get out of her without making any commitment of any kind to her?"
If he were truly into you, he would have contacted you during those two months. He contacted you with a lame excuse because he wants to use you for a vacation.

He might be playing jealousy games but so are you. Until you can treat him honestly and openly and not withhold contact to try to show him something, then you can't complain about his game playing. Talk to him and either tell him good-bye or tell him honestly how you feel, including how you feel about his new girl friend and how you feel about him going on vacation with you.

I'm not sure how to answer this. If he has a gf supposedly, then whey would he want to go on vacation with you? If goes on vacation with you, that is just wrong. If he were your man would you want him going on vacation with anoher girl? This guy sounds like he loves to play game. I would just say forget it. I think you are a strong person, especially since you stopped all contact.I would just move on to someone who does not want to play games. Life is too short to have to figure all that out. Just find someone worht your time.

Ya that doesnt make much sense, maybe he just wants to bang ya again and have the best of both worlds? He sounds like a douche bag, funny how women put up with strange stuff just for the hell of it.

Most likely he 'wants his cake and to eat it to" for lack of a worse cleche to use.
Sounds to me hes not really sure what he wants but it's certainly not either of you in a monogomous relationship.
He's bascially testing the water with you to see how you feel about being with him when you know he is with someone else.
Id stay be friends with the guy but dont let it progresss that past that when he tries. And he will try.

He's either playing games or he's an idiot. Chances are he's both. If he can't be straight with you now.... You'll never be able to fully trust him, let alone get along with him.
If he can't be straight with you... you be straight forward with him and tell him to get lost.

Seems like he's wanting to date you on the sly. Totally uncool of him to insult you like that.
