I am sorry that you feel sad often. This is something that you can not help. In the winter time some people just fell sad because they are closed in doors most of the time. Also there is less daylight. Sometimes i leave a bright light on all night while i am sleeping. Talk to your doctor if your depression is severe.

You most likely have depression. I believe there is a test on the internet (under depression) you can take that tells if you probably have it. There are other types too, like Bipolar disorder which has its ups and downs, and Dysthymia which occurs occasionally for a while. Your best bet though, would be to contact a mental health professional. Don't get discouraged, there are meds to help this such as antidepressants and mood stabilizers. Been there, done that. I feel much, much better now. Good luck!

Well, you're really the only one who would know. Ask yourself why do you feel sad? Have you done anything to feel sad about?
What could you do that might make you feel less sad? End a relationship, mend a relationship, do volunteer work, paint a picture, etc etc
Its not really uncommon to feel sad to some extent occasionally, sad about the problems of the world, etc etc. , so it doesn't mean theres necessarily anything wrong, but it isn't good to always feel that way- if you can't figure it out yourself , talk to someone you trust about it.

First of all, I am in no way an expert. I am just someone that for many years have suffered and have seen friends suffer from bouts of depression. My best advice for you is to see a therapist first who can possibly determine if the cause is social factors and in that can be cured by just "talk therapy" or if you need to be under the guidance of a psychiatrist as well who well put you on medication to help what may be a causing some chemical reactions in your brain either short of long terms that trigger your depression. Either way, I would recommend you see someone as soon as possible even if you have to see a free clinic in your area. They aren't as bad as people have made them out to be and they can someones refer you elsewhere. Either way, please get some help. Life is to short to keep feeling that way. Please keep me appraised of your progress. Promise yourself that this well be a better new year. Good luck.

I believe your undergoing depression or possibly stress. You can try doing yoga if that works. Something must've had happen to make you feel sad alot, or it could be that you wanna be somewhere else. Look into taking a vacation away from your hometown or go to a spa and get a massage.
