Can you spray oil in a cup to get enough oil to bake a cake

No, but you can use applesauce in place of the oil. Just use the same amount that is called for the oil.
But you can spray the pan instead of using oil to keep the cake from sticking to the pan. Just spray enough to cover the inside of the pan and flour as usual.

No, it would make the cake too sticky and not cook up properly. I have used melted margarine instead of oil. It's sort of a family secret too and I probably shouldn't tell it. LOL

No, but try using Mayonnaise! Mayo is made up of oil and eggs, so try substituting your eggs and oil for mayo, it's really tasty, but be sure to mix well, the mayo needs to not have lumps, or they cook like that :)

I never used Spray, but, Motor Oil will work. I found Pennzoil to be the best 10w-30.
I should add, "Please Do Not Believe" this, I just joking. Above are better answers and the Applesauce will work.

No, but try butter. I've never, but wondering if melted butter could be a good sub.
