made homemade wine in october put the ballon on top and it inflated still has not gone down. Do I have to wait or can I drink it now?

You should be using a fermentation lock NOT a balloon. I'm surprised it didn't burst. The CO2 has to go somewhere. Did you add yeast or depend on already-present to start fermentation?

You'll want to rack (siphon) it off into another vessel for secondary fermentation regardless (for better clarity and get it off the sediment).
