Italy is the most beautiful country, I spent 5 months at Lake Garda last year (working) and found the people to be friendly and helpful. I wouldn't recommend moving to London, the culture is different and it is not a fair representation of a genuine english way of life. If you decide to come over go for someway smaller, where people are not so much in a rush. However you could compromise and go for some where an hour or so travelling time from London, so that the theatre's, nightclubs, etc are within a short distance. as for me I know where I would prefer to live .

Italy is beautiful, London is ugly and the people are really cold. I wouldn't move there, I think you will feel isolated. Try it out for a short time and if you like it then go, but you have to experience it first hand before you make a decision.
