Do wall ovens come in 120 voltes. I have one single 240 outlet, were my old one unit range-oven was. It appears that seperate cooktops and ovens need their own, seperate outlets.

Also, do wall ovens need venting to the outside, as a cooktop does.

Thanks for your answer.

Actually 120 volt ovens are quite common, 98% of R.V.s have 120v systems. You'll probably pay a little more, but if that's what you want just go down to an R.V. dealership. You can buy 120v water heaters, dryers, ovens, etc. But check the price difference, it might be cheaper to have an electrician come in to run a new circuit.

All wall ovens are 220 volt- usually a 30 or 40 amp breaker is required depending upon model. The cook top will need its own separate breaker.

We have a wall oven and separate stovetop unit. They both required 240V outlets. I cannot tell you if ALL of them require 240V, but typically most ovens and stovetops will require it.

A wall oven should not require venting to the outside, unless it is listed as such on the manual that came with the oven. Ours has vents built in to the front of the oven, and its insulated double walls make it safe to install in solid oak kitchen cabinetry...The outside does not get extremely hot, except the glass panel in the front.
