Isn't that kind of contradictory?

I'm talking about a real Goth- not a person who wears black and makeup to fit in.

No, "Goth" isnt a religion, it's a style. Goths sometimes incorporate Vampire or Witchcraft into the style but its not a requirement to do so. The Gothic era wasnt anti Christian but black clothing and such was what they wore at the time. Some of the worlds most ornate and architectually amazing churches were built in the Gothic times.

If you're of the Gothic subculture then I guess you are free to believe in what ever or whom ever you want. Just because you are a "Goth" doesn't necessarily mean you have to wear all black all of the time, some Gothic peoples chose to wear all white. But at the same time, I kind of do see your point, why would one chose to be associated with a subculture such as "Gothic" when they are professing being a follower of Christ? One cannot serve two masters, as the Bible tells us. I'm not a Gothic person, but I do know that the lifestyle is full of all kinds of ideas and beliefs as well as clothing styles, hairstyles and music. We are in the world but we are not to be "of the world". If we follow Christ then we are to do as he did and not as the world does. So I guess I can see how you would say being Goth and a follower of Christ is contradictory.

the style of clothing one wears has nothing to do with their religion..so if i wanted i could dress really modest and be a satanist or i could dress really creepy and be a cristian,,,geez look at the catholic priest attire
