Yes... School is really important and I'd never let my looks take-over my work but to feel confident about yourself in school, it's great to look 'good'. My school are really strict about hairstyles and everything. Can anyone suggest anything for longer layered hair, either an up-do or hanging down. I straighten my hair a lot and I want something different and individual to suit my personality.

Help?

oh this is fun! well get some curling mouse, and when u get out of the shower, towel dry ur hair, and rub a hand ful of mouse and or jel in your hair work through it til all the mouse is disolved, then towel dry again (you are rubbing all this is and towel drying upside down) next stand up staights and crunch or hair up word (this makes little waves) your hair wil become stiff and stiill look relativly wet, but it looks really good. Finally, take a tiny piece of hair from the center of your head, slick it back, covering ur middle part, then clip it back with a cute barett.

Curl your hair (this is very cute)

1 french braid-- this is very cute especially if you have naturally wavy/ curly hair. it will make it a but bumpy but it looks very cute. french briad it all the way down and tie it with an elastic. When braid is complete, take a headband (the ones that r a bug upside down U curved inward--- i know these things r out of style but just wait) ---a THIN headband with a bow on the side (if u cant find one at the store its easy to make) place it on tope of your head (your not really keeping anything back, this is just to dress it up) Finally, talk a very cute pattern ribbon and tie it at the end of the braid and youve got the cutest hair style there is.

Another very cute one i love to do is the French Braid Bun. Herese what you do:
(might want to straighten ur hair for this)

part your hair to the side, and tie away the bottom half of you har. French braid each side of the part (one will be slightly thicker than the other) and then take the rest of ur hair that u put a side, and bring the free briad, and the rest of ur hair into a bun. Finishing touch, a cute ribbon!

also regular french briads (2)

hope i helped!

your confidence seems to be a little off. Make sure your hair is clean and looks neat. You will succeed. French braids are always a winner. To impress your teachers and the other staff, make sure your hair doesn't fall into your eyes, that is a signal to them that you might be trying to hide something. I know that having pieces of hair in the eyes is in, but, it does give off a less than good attitude vibe. Be yourself and have fun. There are lots of teen magazines that have hair ideas in them. If you don't know how to do a french braid, a hair stylist will show you how for a minimal fee.

Layered hair is great to work with. You can do many things with it.
Pull it up. Wear it straight. Curl it. Style it forward to frame your face. Try different parts. Part it on the side and style one side forward and the other back for an asymmetrical look. Flip it up. Flip it under. Play with it and try different styles. Try french braids. Use hair clips and hair decorations.
