A lot of the people here are rude, particularly to young people.

I have not looked through your questions specifically yet to see if you're contributing to the problem, but I will. Otherwise, just try not to let them get you down. It's good to know that you need information and to look for it.

ADDENDUM: A few of your questions are clearly filed in the wrong category, this tends to put some people off before they get started. (For instance this question is really not in the right place.) That aside, your writing is a little sloppy. Think through your questions a little more carefully. Proper spelling, punctuation, and capitalization, will go a long way toward getting your questions treated with more respect. You're talking about posting a question to potentially thousands of people around the world, think of it that way. (An extra five minutes writing the question to begin with may make all the difference in getting the help you need.)

But, I don't think you're stupid at all. :) Take care, hon.

If those people are making fun of you because you are asking a question then they aren't people you should be hanging out with. You have EVERY right to ask a question no matter if someone thinks it's stupid or not. You go and ask your little heart out until you find that answer that makes you happy! Don't let anyone bring you down! Next time someone tells you that your stupid IGNORE them. I bet the reason why you ask those questions is because you want to learn unlike the rest of your classmates! Stay strong and keep the questions coming! Happy New Year!

Well, seeing as how you have only asked 8 questions and two of them are this same question and a couple are just ridiculous anyway...I would have to agree with the other people.
Pay attention, there WILL be a test later, it's called life.

The amount of crime now and the amount of crime "then" is somewhat debated but the consensus appears to be about perception and not about actual crime rates. Nowadays we keep better records and our records are more public. When something happens in the world you can know about it within minutes or even seconds. This wasn't always the case, obviously. People got raped, killed, robbed, run over, stabbed, etc. just as much then as they do now.

and how come you asked the above question and "Why does Saddam Hussein and Osama bin Laden wana hurt our contrys nation?" in the "lesbian, gay, bisexual, and transgendered" area?

Sorry, I'm inclined to think like the others.
Pay attention to detail, it matters.

I've looked back over your questions, and really only about two of them had anything to do with the world at large and knowledge about it. I think what many mature adults have a knee-jerk reaction to as "dumb" is really just "young." You are clearly young, and there's nothing really wrong with you asking somewhat naive questions on this forum. Those who don't want to answer them don't need to bother. There will usually be someone patient enough to answer your questions, so ask away.

I looked at some of your questions , I suggest using spell check.
Also how can any one know what Asama and Bin are thinking about us.? We could only guess ,which isn't really a answer.
Don't be discouraged every one has someone out there that will call our questions stupid or dumb, I don't care about them . Focus on the people that are sincere. Best wishes .

Honey, the problem is not the questions, but the way you ask them. While your spelling is good, your grammar leaves something to be desired. If you want good answers from the people who are most able, and willing to help, clean up your grammar, and proof read your questions before you submit them. Trust me, you'll notice a big difference in the responses...

Just don't pay attention to the ones that can't appreciate and respect you. It's always good to be asking questions. There aren't stupid questions. And you certainly aren't stupid for asking them.

Sometimes, it is about who and how you should ask the question, if you know what I mean. And please don't let other's opinions and gestures sway you. You are who you are. It's always good to have a questioning mind :-)

My teacher once said:" there is no stupid questions in this world, only stupid people who don't ask question"

Don't be dishearted by those comment. Perhaps you can post some questions out so we can answer to the best of our ability.

Sometimes we just miss things taught in school, it can be incredibly boring. Its a very good sign of your mental health and wisdom that you want to know and actively seek to find the answers. I love learning, but because of my ADHD [which I didnt know back then I had] I missed a lot of things taught in school and would learn later. I still ask, and always will. Ask any of your good teachers, and they will tell you they ask about things too.
The best teachers are always students.
