I have a ktten and parts of her are black (her back) while her head and legs are tabby, shes only 5 weeks old will she go completly tabby or remain black also, it seems as if the tabby in her is spreading.

I think every cat is different, just as some people look like their mom when young, and dad when older, or vice versa. My tabby cat faded out to completely grey except for stripes around his face.

She will likely keep the black on her back.

My kitten had similar markings and matured into an adult with a wide black stripe from her head to the tip of her tail, while the rest of her tabby stripes became more pronounced.
She looks quite unique and adorable.
Your cat has beautiful markings.

At five weeks, it's too early to tell unless you know what both the parents look like.

Many cats, have 'ghost' tabby markings in early life, lion cubs included. These markings often disappear as the cat gets older.

If either of the parents have tabby markings then it is likley the kitten will retain some of their colouration.

it all depends. I have had my tabby cat for about 5 years and she still has black on her back, i think almost all tabbies are like that. hope you enjoy you kitten!!

More than likely she'll keep the same marking she has now.
