In 100 years I figure this atheist will have been worm food for at least 80 years.

As they say: 100 years from now, all new people! Why you worry? What do you know about what is in the heart of an atheist? Maybe he or she does not choose to share it with you. People have rights. And why don't you just stop judging others, especially in such a stereotypical way? Don't you have something else to do? And, if not .... move to a warmer climate. You could go weed the garden or do something useful.

Given the current life expectancy, we will be dead. So will all the believers. And there will probably be as many atheists around as there are now. I can only hope we will have matured enough as a species by then to have lost the need for the supernatural; but given the lucrative nature of organized religion, it seems unlikely.

Me, I'll be dead and cremated and my ashes scattered in the ocean. Then again in 100 years I'm sure there will be a higher percentage of atheists in the population after the Christian churches burn another generation of believers waiting for Christ to come back and sucking them dry of their hard earned paychecks to pay for shipping priests off to different parishes, paying hush money to keep people quite, evangelicals paying for their gay prostitutes, gold mines in Africa, multi million dollar mansions, land deals, Las Vegas hookers, crack cocaine, and sending a few dollars to a token starving child in South America they'd like to molest.

Do you mean the current atheists? - Dead
Do you mean Atheism on this planet? - It may or may not increase. I think it may. It seems to be heading that way, but peoples views are affected by the circumstances going on in government and the world in general. When that shifts, so do people’s opinions. It’s impossible to tell because of this.

the same place they are now, still trying to convince people about the truth not that atheists know the truth, but both sides will keep their beliefs and atheists will more than likely have to confess Jesus as the savior or be thrown to the gallows
