We have been seeing eachother since May, he lives in another city and couldnt be here for Christmas, we both date other people,He knows I have a gift for him.

Give the gift to him...and don't think he doesn't care...the important is your feelings..
maybe he has another way to care about you..
gifts is not the meaning of "" CARE ""
care..means
someone respect you..cheer up you...when you're sad..
it has a lot of meanings...but the gift will be the last meaning of "" CARE ""...
please...believe in your man and your feelings ^_^

I wouldn't put too much thought into it if he comes empty handed. You both date other people right? So why even wonder if he cares about you at all? Obviously this is a casual fling so leave it at that.

No...you should think he's a man. Or, that's what I thought...until I read that he KNOWS you have a gift for him.
Assuming that you didn't slip that to him at the last minute...if he knows you have a gift he should bring one too. If he does not, he's rude, whether he cares or not.

umm.. I guess so.. although there are many factors to consider. but I don't think there is any reason why a person coming from another city to see a girl he's dating not to bring her a gift with him. especially when he knows she has got him one

Um...yes and no...I wouldnt automatically assume he doesnt care, cause there are other things that could make that happen, maybe he was especially busy, or maybe he couldnt find anything he thought was special enough for you, theres a decent chance thats what it means, but I wouldnt assume it.

With or without the knowledge of your gift to him but just because he cares, it would seem appropriate that he have something thoughtful to present to you.

well you never know... maybe wile your going out that night or day its going to be the surprise. i mean just because he's not holding a box doesnt mean that he hasent gotten you anything.... but if he doesnt do anything special or give you anything then that might mean something.... iono guys are weird but are alittle more simple then girls

Dont give it to him, because it feels funny. It would be better if he had something for u, since he already knew that you had something for him. So that is rude of him to not bring anything. Plus it was for Christmas.

don't give it to him,he should have something for you as well.wait for him to give his gift,if he doesnt have,then it means he didn't even bother get you something knowing you have something for him.keep it,reserve it for another time when you don't expect him to give something in exchange,like his birthday.
