Maybe or maybe not it could all be a normal cycle of the earth with a little help form the worlds population chance's are that you will see little things happen like weather patterns shift and season lasting longer and starting later the odds of something catastrophic happening while we are alive are slim you will see changes though

I do not believe there is enough volume of ice in New Zealand to cause a catastrophic event should it all melt. However, we do need to worry if the Greenland Ice Shelf breaks away and melts. Same for the ice that covers the Arctic Ocean. These ice-melting events will flood most of the world's sea ports, inundate our beloved beaches, and submerge all ocean front properties not perched atop seacliffs.

Dosnt water expand when its frozen! thereby when it melts there will be less volume
