Dear Jibba Jabba-
"I just dont have that supernatural feeling ya'll talk about."
Salvation is not about a feeling.
"The Lord is not slow about His promise as some count slowness, but is patient toward you, not wishing for any to perish but for all to come to repentance." 2 Peter 3:9
"For by grace you have been saved through faith; and that not of yourselves, it is the gift of God; not as a result of works, so that not one may boast." Ephesians 2:8-9
Sincerely, Redeemed

it's not a supernatural feeling. It IS a gift from God to have the Holy Spirit and Jesus. But it's only a gift if we receive it happily. If you let God into your life, and go to church, and believe you will have the Holy Spirit in your life. Try it. Go to a Lutheran church. Or Christian. You will go to heaven if you do this. Otherwise,,,,, have fun with satan when you die.

Isn’t that the truth!!! The awesome part is, God has given all of us the same of an opportunity to receive the Holy spirit, and be able to meet Jesus. It is very simple than anyone thought. For God so love the world that He gave His one and only Son that who ever believes in Him shall not perish but have eternal life. All the person has to do is give his/her heart to Jesus. Repent of his/her sins, believe to His word, and has faith of believe in Him with all his/her heart. The key thing is following Him and His word. You can believe, but not following His Word and Him, you would be all talking about it. The relationship with Him has to be a continuing one. When one side withdraw, it would end that relationship. God never leave us or forsaking us. We are capable to leave God, but He won’t leave us. Again, we could be the one who end it. It would help the person, if he/she is reading the King James Bible to understand what God’s word for us. My regret of having Jesus in my heart is I didn’t ask Him sooner. To me, happiness of the things in this world is last for awhile, but the joy in my heart with His spirit is for ever. It never die out.

Many are called few are chosen.
To be chosen and to accept the call is such a blessing and wonderful feeling.

but you can, my friend.
I am no different than you.....
probably more like you than you think.
I once humbled myself like a small child.....
gave up my pride in myself.....
told God "I give up"
I need you God to save me from eternal salvation"
"I need you in my life to stand with me and walk with me."
"I accept Jesus Christ as MY PERSONAL Lord and Savior."and claimed that which God had promised.
God opened my eyes.
His Word, previously not understood by me, became clear and enlightening.
Did I change completely overnight? NO.
Did I realize the power of the Holy Spirit God sent to dwell inside me? No.
Being a true Christian is a walk in progress and a work in progress.
Do I still make mistakes? you bet.
Do I still displease God. You bet.
But God is faithfull and forgives those transgressions and helps me to walk a better walk for Him.
My friend.....
cast aside your pride.....
get on your knees......
and ask God to make good His promises
and believe
and you to will become an eternal child of God.
May God envelope you in His Grace.

I think it's a treat to be chosen best answer- I think that being "chosen" to lead a life of guilt is more of a chore than a treat!
