I lost 5 pounds in 2 weeks before, and all I did was watch the portions that I ate and what I ate. I walked about 45 minutes everyday........... not run, just walking. I did not eat after 8 pm. Drink lots of water. Usually after a meal, especially after dinner, is when I walk or find a chore to do around the house, so I use up those calories I just packed in. I think a lot of us know how to loose weight and maintain a healthy diet, but it takes will power. So one thing I did was write a note and stuck it on my mirror I used every morning that had some words of encouragement on it. It really helped. 10 pounds should be easy within 5 months for you. Good luck!

10 pounds in 5 months? Just exercise and eat a little less. 10 pounds is not that much.

Drink plenty of water, less caffeine! Eat normal meals except cut out all food that is white for awhile. Such as sugar, white breads, potatoes, white pastas. Eat a healthy breakfast full of all the food groups! Make your meals smaller as the day progresses but eat 6 meals not three! Don't skip a meal! Go for walks or just put some music on and dance and just watch the ten pounds disappear! You will feel GREAT and look GREAT!

You need to burn off approximately 35,000 calories in 5 months.

3500 calories = 1 pound, so that's only 1750.05 calories per per week. You can ride a bike at the gym for just 45 minutes a day 5 days a week and hit that. I calculated that at 12-13.9 mph.

Also, make sure that you don't accidentally increase your calorie intake while you're trying to loose those 10 pounds, or you'll negate your calorie burning.

work off a pound a week...eat 250 calories less each day and exercise 250 calories worth each day, then you would have gotten rid of 500 cal. per day and 3500 cal.a week, which is equal to 1 pound. just don't go on those fad diets cuz you either end up: decreasing your metabolism, loosing a lot of water, or loosing protein and muscle.

1. 20-30 minutes of cardio BEFORE breakfast each morning
2. 5 small healthy meals a day
3. cut way down on the sugar. 1 desert per week.
4. drink water 5-6 glasses a day
5. dairy products-cottage cheese and skim milk only!

if you feel light headed or just don't feel good with the cardio before breakfast it's ok afterwards.
this has worked for me.
don't starve yourself! good luck.

DONT stop eating. Whomever said that was either being sarcastic or just doesn't know what they're talking about. If you quit eating you'll gain weight. Best to just watch calories, excercise [running is good - 20,30 minutes a day - two or three times a week], etc. good luck :]

10 pounds isn't that much. Try the special K diet or cut down on foods. It shouldnt be that difficult.

You could knock out 10lbs in one month alone. All you need to do is exercise, and eat in moderation, and drink lots of water, and make sure you do have a treat so that your body dont go into shock.
