If there is an atheist who doesnt think Evolution makes any sense or lacks important evidence, is there an alternative theory?

If a creationist doesnt think a 6 day creation makes sense, they can consider the days to be longer than 24 hrs, they can consider maybe God brought forth Adam and Eve through evolotion, they can believe there was an earth time before this one and so on.

Just wondering if all Atheist have to think the same way about this or if there are alternative theories?

I am an atheist. Sometimes it's hard to fathom the earth is 4 billion years old. But it really does make sense, since it needed to be converted from a molten rock, then form the ingredients of life, kept spinning and spinning, it took an extraordinary amount of time, many ice ages, to form the mountains and caverns we see.
We know that plate shifting under the ocean is real, that it is a fact the continents are moving away from each other all the time,

Sometimes I think the earth may be 2 billion years old,
and that life was implanted here from meteors and asteroids which pelted the earth in it's early formation--where they came from, so on and so forth is one of life's big questions.
--So, there is no dispute about evolution--since the evidence is overwhelming and ALWAYS supports it time after time,
the original origins of life itself on Earth, where it came from are broken down into two theories: implantation or self originating.

If you hear a creationist who says the earth is only 6000 years old, and thats why evolution can't be true - ignore them. They are not agreeing with the Book of Genesis, or with God - AT ALL.
They do not know the Bible, period.
The Bible states in Gen1; "In the beginning, God created the Heavens and the Earth." There is a period after that sentence.
According to Gods Word, there is an entire age within that verse.
The Bible says this earth is billions and billions of years old.
That there was an entire age before this one.
There is no controversy between the Truth of Gods Word, and true science.
If there are Christians out there, don't say the earth is 6000 years old, and that thats what the Bible says. Please don't. You will make all of us look like idiots, and whats even worse, you make God look like a liar.
The alternative here is the truth; that both are correct -
God created the heavens and the earth ages - billions and billions of years ago, and the way it progressed, was at the hand of God.

Scientific theories never become laws and are never considered fully proven - they are revisable models that incorporate all we know about a particular subject and offer our best, working explanations for what we see. All of science is expressed in theories. Scientific theories contain real-time observations, hypotheses and universal scientific laws. Darwin's theory offers a good example - it's been revised - our modern theory of evolution, the Modern Synthesis - was assembled in mid-20th century. You can argue Darwin forever and never come close to understanding modern science. And if you don't keep up, modern science rapidly leaves you behind - a third evolutionary synthesis is already on the way. monkeys....LOL

What evolutionary pressure did God use to create the human brain?

Studies, like that done by the University of Michigan, and features in the Discovery Channel program, The Amazing Life of the Human Brain, shows just how amazing the human brain is.

Every second while awake, we are absorbing 40MBs of data per second. That’s 144 gigabytes per hour and about 2 terabytes per day. That’s a lot of data even for the largest computer. When we sleep at night, and only at night or under nighttime conditions, all that data is sorted and stored through the creation of synaptic connectors and biochemical bounds. The brain has enough volume to allow for the creation of these storage connectors to last over 10,000 years.

Clearly, man was either created by God to live that long, or if evolve, once lived that long, and have we since de-evolved to what we are today. Which do you think it is?

This is why I believe that God create man from dust, to be at his peak. I use the brain he gave me, and designed for me, to determine something beyond imagining.

Get over it already. The universe, the creations and everything are created by the Creator.

The Universe was created in Six Days

007.054: Your Guardian-Lord is Allah, Who created the heavens and the earth in six days, and is firmly established on the throne (of authority): He draweth the night as a veil o'er the day, each seeking the other in rapid succession: He created the sun, the moon, and the stars, (all) governed by laws under His command. Is it not His to create and to govern? Blessed be Allah, the Cherisher and Sustainer of the worlds!

"Allah states that He created the universe, the heavens and earth and all that is in, on and between them in six days, as He has stated in several Ayat in the Qur'an. These six days are: Sunday, Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday and Friday. On Friday, the entire creation was assembled and on that day, Adam was created. As for Saturday, no creation took place in it." - Exegesis of Imam Ibnu Kathir

A Day in the sight of God is equivalent to a thousand years of our reckoning

022.047: Yet they ask thee to hasten on the Punishment! But Allah will not fail in His Promise. Verily a Day in the sight of thy Lord is like a thousand years of your reckoning.

032.005: He rules (all) affairs from the heavens to the earth: in the end will (all affairs) go up to Him, on a Day, the space whereof will be (as) a thousand years of your reckoning.

That would make it a total of 6000 years.

God knows best.

Peace and Love.

Why not ask this question about Relativity or quantum mechanics? It is believers who have a problem with one of the most established scientific theories (and look up what that word means) ever.
