if you dont trust on dating sites then why there are dating sites? if you trust then upto what level?

No...I don't trust dating sites. Most of the participants are actually involved in other relationships and just want to know what's out there. It's an ego thing, and a money making proposition for the site sponsors. You only know what the person chooses to reveal, you don't know anyone else who is acquainted with the person you meet, and there is no way to verify what they tell you.

I signed up on a few different sites and met my boyfriend off of one and so did my best friend. We emailed back and forth for awhile to see how the other person was and then talked on the phone for awhile before we met in person. You just have to feel the person out and see what vibe you get from them

They can be a good thing, the problem is that most people who use them are using that as their only way to find a date. I've used them but as an addition rather than an alternative.
