Communistic, anti-American ex-hippies and druggies have infiltrated and almost completely overrun our educational institutions, as detailed painstakingly by David Horowitz, John Stossel, Bill O'Rielly, Thomas Sowell, Walter Williams, Sen. Tom Tancredo, Sen. Rick Santorum, Larry Elder, Michael Savage, Glenn Beck, Michael Graham, Ann Coulter, Laura Ingraham, Dr. Michael S. Adams, Michelle Malkin, and countless other articulate and fierce patriots who are determined to save our Republic from the clutches of Islamofriendly dhimmitude and outright socialist dystopian transgender thought-police.

America is the best thing that has happened to the world, period.

Do you see ANYONE fleeing America to seek a better life in, say, Botswana, or Canada, or Mauritania, or France, or Namibia, or Bhutan, or Russia, or Cuba, or anywhere?

No, people invariably flee other places to seek a better life HERE.

So why are liberals intent on bashing the United States, instead of defending her?

DISSENT IS NOT THE HIGHEST FORM OF PATRIOTISM--DEFENDING ONE'S COUNTRY IS.

You are absolutely right!!

Not just to hate our Country but to also put a politically correct spin on somethings we grew up saying.

They're not snowmen, they're snow people! Oh Please!!

Not wanting to call our Founding Fathers but call them "The Framers". WHAT????

Depicting Indians without braids so as not to offend them. Huh?? Did they not wear braids?? Political correctness sucks!!!

Those of you that criticize the question, are either truly ignorant or just like to argue because this question brings out a valid and scary point.

I hope some will even take the time to look at these links to see that the question we are all answering is not only a valid question, but scary as hell that political correctness is infiltrating our children's textbooks.

Wake up folks!

I am a liberal and I have defended this country. In the military, not on a website.

This country is pretty great, but not perfect. It has flaws. Pointing those flaws out is not unpatriotic. IT IS EVERY CITIZEN'S DUTY. Blind agreement in the name of patriotism is just an excuse not to think.

The most evil regimes in the world didn't start out that way. A lot of people followed blindly for a long time. I don't want that here. I don't want the first step toward that taken. I don't ever want to feel like I should have spoken up.

I defend America where it can and should be defended, that doesn't mean I'm gonna roll over and become a flag-wagging American idiot for all issues. America is corrupt and will most likely continue to be so. Our textbooks teach us the Americanized version of all things essential so that at a young age we're already trained to be brainless spineless sheep who will grow up loving American football waving some random banner at the world and using personal impertinent social insults to shut down anyone who objects the American way. America is not the greatest thing that has ever happened to the world. It could have been, but it chose the path of corruption. We are a fascist imperialistic oligarchy pressing it's financial weight against the smaller parts of the world that can't defend themselves and using bureaucracy and red tape ploys to bat off the civilized world when it tries to stop us. We push the limits b/c we're arrogant and we don't believe that anyone will ever decide enough is enough and stop letting us terrorize the world around us.
The American people are blissfully ignorant of everything they are and since they live in a little plastic bubble filled with filtered happy times Americanized versions of their impact on the world around them, it serves their ego and their laughable intellect to start bashing everyone else if word gets through that they aren't viewed as saviors by everyone in the world, that they are going out and bullying defenseless nations, and then pretending that they needed to liberate the people. They're funding and promoting terrorism all over the globe, and then pretending to fight it, nice cover and you never see through it if yer an American, 'cuz yer just that dumb. Trained dogs is a more accurate description of Americans in America. Sit Ubu, sit! Bash foreigners Ubu! Follow the pretty red white and blue banner Ubu, oh yeah good boy! Good boy! Here's a cookie! Num nums!

Wow! I haven't checked this site for three or four months, but I guess nothing much has changed. What a nice forum for presenting unsubstantiated, inflammatory diatribes.
I'm afraid your basic thesis is, to put it simply, wrong. Questioning authority is not "hating America." Disagreement with policies, especially when proven to be disasters, is not "hating America."
I could as easily argue that you "hate America," based on the number of people in our country that you clearly do hate. But I think what you mean to say is that you hate people in America who disagree with your view of what America is.
Judging from your list of "experts," you certainly don't independently search for truth, but that probably would not be an American ideal in your world view. It's so much easier to parrot the thinking of the right-wingers than to think for yourself.

Lol. You should stop listening to Rush Limbaugh.

Liberals are NOT intent on bashing US but some of them, as true Americans express disagreement with the descisions of certain governments on occasion.

Disagreement is the MOST American thing you can do. Started with the guys in 1776 and continues to this day.

The day you lose that and lose sober thought/reflection is the day that America will be lost forever!!!

I know Americans who have moved to Canada because they determined they would have a better life there. I also know immigrants to America who also did so because Canada was more humane than the US in their immigration policies.

As for the rest of your list, why compare the US to the worst countries in the world? That the US is better for almost everyone than Namibia is hardly something to brag about.

We love America so much we will defend her when needed and speak out against her when needed......

there is no blind allegiance and obedience to our country..... that is what Nazi Germany did in the 1930's.....

just like with your children you love them and you correct them because YOU LOVE THEM!!!!!!!

Don't be so one-sided... have some balance in your life!!!!!

and all those idiots you point out care less about their country and more about power and money!!!!!!!!
