Its wanting to be there and no where else. Even if that means being in the bathroom holding their hand as they are being sick. The lust feelings are nice but are short lived. Love is about committment and family. Its doing all you can for the other, and the other wanting to same or better for you. Its coming home everyday, even though the cute new person at the office winked at you.

You will just know. Probably not the answer you were looking for but it's a very personal thing. For me, the day I wondered the same thing is the day I saw the guy again and when I saw him, he smiled, his eyes lit up and it just felt so right. We could talk about anything and no matter where we were everyone around us seemed to melt away and it was only he and I there. I speak of this in the past tense because this is what I felt when I first knew however - this guy - ended up being the guy I married and we have been together for 12 years now.
Just go with what's in your heart - if it feels right than it is right. Good luck!

You will know that you're in love when you guys are together and it feels above emotion, its happen to me before. It would feel as though you all are in your own mini world, while you guys are still in the world. Love is not just an emotion, it is also action and commitment. Love will move you to do things that "like" wouldn't. And the ultimate reward of love, is commitment. It would be more than just a relationship, it would involve two people whom are loyal, involved, and dedicated.

This question is almost impossible to answer because everyone falls in love different. If you have to ask then you probably aren't in love.
But here are some things that usually mean you have pretty strong feelings for someone...they are the first thing you think of before you go to sleep & when you wake up, you miss them as soon as they're gone, when they hold you everything feels right...etc, etc.

Being in love is wanting to be with him know matter where or what he's doing. Just thinking about him 24/7 not realizing time as past by when your together. Wanting to do so much for him and he for you and not minding at all.
