When I bite this puss filled bump, a clear puss comes out, looks like water and the sore goes down. It doesn't hurt it just bothers me because I know it's there. I can feel it when I talk. It just looks like there is a small bump (a little bit smaller then the top of a pencil eraser). It is filled with a clear fluid. It keeps coming back. Now its starting to freak me out. I don't smoke, drink and I know it's not a STD, any info, please help me. Thanks

If it is clear, it is just serum, not puss. Quite common and no big deal.

Well, my guess is that you have an germ-infected sore or cut on your lip, and it has filled up with puss. So, you need to get a very warm cloth and compress it on your lip a bit. Then, you should try popping it. I know it sounds like it hurts, but its the only way! You may want too do it soon or else the infection will get in your blood stream. If you cant do it yourself, go to your local Urgent Care and they can do it , without it hurting as much ( although it still may hurt ). The Urgent Care may also ask you to take a few big horse pills to get the infection out of your blood stream depending on how long its been there. I hope you can take my advice!

Might be just a cold sore, but it should go away in about 5 days. However, if it does not clear up shortly, go to your dentist. I had a benign growth on the tip of my tongue that had to be removed by an oral surgeon. It even had developed blood vessels. In a month's time, it had gotten bigger than a pencil eraser. These are weird things but are 99.9% of the time are benign.

I am no longer a dentist. If it is rather painful, it is a canker sore. However relatively, it sounds such as you just bit your lip at the same time eating and it most effective manifested right into a bump while drowsing. Minor bites are barely noticeable when they happen. Occurs to me at all times. If that indeed is the case, then it will just go away eventually.

I am not a DR. only a nursing student, so check my info out with a professional. I believe what you have are like stress ulcers. I would recommend not popping it, it will just keep coming back if you do. Leave it alone, and over a few days it should reduce in size and then eventually go away.

It's probably a canker sore. I used to get those a lot and my dentist told me not to pop it or it would spread the infection to other areas of my mouth and I'd get more. They used to make this paste that you could put on to shrink them, but I'm not sure if it's still available. Good luck getting rid of it.

it sounds like a canker sore; if you put anbesol or canka on it, it'll go down b/c these products numb the area, so you won't be able to feel it and you'll leave it alone.
