What is the best exercise to target that area on the back of your hips. When I wear tight jeans I get that bulge sticking out on the sides and back. Oh and I don't have a gym membership so its gotta be something I can do at home. I do have a stability ball.

Sorry to tell you that there is no such thing as "spot reduction," which means that you can't work an area and lose the fat that's on top of it. That's the bad news, the good news is that any exercise that burns calories (fat) will lose fat from that area. The long path consists of eating a proper diet (cut out too much fat, simple starches such as all white stuff--get whole grains only, excess sugar, and count your calories that you are getting each day), of doing some kind of resistance training (you get get a DVD for in-home pilates or something strength-building), and of course you will have to do cardio.

Cardio is best done when you first get out of bed in the morning (since you've been fasting and your body will have to burn body fat instead of the food you've been eating all day if you do it in the afternoon), and doing at least 20 minutes (it take the full 20 minutes for your body to even start burning fat, if you stop at 20 minutes you won't be getting anything out of it) of cardio where your heartrate will be around 60-80% (if you're around 20 then it's about 130). Do this three times a week. It can be running, in-house cardio (like aerobic DVD), or even walking some tough hills. Either way, it will take a little while, but the benefits are really great aside from just making you look great in jeans.

Some kinda of kick boxing workout.. the kicks, and hip twists will work and side crunches.. good luck

just jumprope it will help you lose fat and stay lean.
