God sent his only begotten Son to the end that all who believe in Him should not perish but have everlasting life. That would be our immortal soul.

Ezekiel 18:4 says: “The soul that is sinning—it itself will die.” Also, Acts 3:23 says: “Any soul [or, person] that does not listen to that Prophet will be completely destroyed from among the people.”
Nowhere does God’s inspired Word, the Bible, say that humans have an immortal soul. Read the account at Genesis 2:7 for yourself. It says: “Jehovah God proceeded to form the man out of dust from the ground and to blow into his nostrils the breath of life, and the man came to be a living soul.” That is clear and unambiguous. When God created the first man, Adam, He did not put some kind of immaterial principle into him. No, for the Bible says that “the man came to be a living soul.” The man did not house a soul. He was a soul.

the body is an extension of the soul and the mind is the consious body of the soul. Thus, the soul is connected to the mind and the body. To say the soul has a direct connection to the jeudo-christian god is bigotry. The soul is present in almost every belief system.
In short answer, the soul is the consiousness of the being in use of the body. The soul is only alive so long as that consiousness remains.
So either nothing has a soul, or everything that can think, has a body, and can feel emotions, has a soul.

I think you missed what is trying to be said. The soul that is SINNING dies which is our ego/"fleshly spirit". In other words, the more spiritual one becomes the less need there is for the ego. (A truly spiritual person is not controlled by their ego and put others' needs before their own.) The "self" is crucified and they are born again in the spirit (this is the soul that is immortal). We all have immortal souls - it's a matter of recognizing our duality and choosing to listen to our soul/spirit rather than our ego.

The soul, or spirit, is a living thing inside your body. When that earthly body dies then the soul returns to its source - spirit world, or Heaven as some call it. There your soul has to account for all the bad things you have done to others in your earthly life and you experience the pain you have inflicted on others. If you have not learned all the lessons in that incarnation then your soul reincarnates to go through the process again.

Well Christianity doesn't teach the immorality of the soul. It teaches the resurrection of the body. We will be physical beings in heaven, raised from the dead. I believe the soul is considered your intellect, raised with your body.
And then there's that little thing of grace -- not so little after all maybe. We all sin. Here's a passage from the Book of Romans, chapter 3.
23for all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God, 24and are justified freely by his grace through the redemption that came by Christ Jesus.

a persons' essence - its spirit is immortal, whether it has sinned or not. Depending on what you believe - i believe when the body dies the spirit moves into the spirit world where there are seven planes- no not aeroplanes!!!, the bottom one being where those who have no remorse for the wrong they did go and the top plane where babys, babys are innocent, for example go.

Look at that passage as being figuratively speaking. To my knowledge, the soul doesn't die, but you can lower yourself through depravity to such depth that, yes, in a sense your soul "dies".
