No, I've always used raw egg, and never heard of putting a cooked egg in there... that wouldn't do any good. If you add a tsp of olive oil to it - it will make it shine and feel silky though =)

No need to cook the egg, just scramble it to break the yolk. The entire egg can be used, not just the yolk. put it on your hair like shampoo, let it sit for a bit, then wash it out.
You can also use Mayonaise (after all Mayo is nothing but an emulsion of egg and oil). It does the same thing but is eaiser to apply.

U should never cook the egg before u put it on and you are not supposed to put the yolk. Just filter the egg white and apply it on wet hair and wash off with shampoo ( i recommend Pantene
pro-v) And u have the glossy &shiny hair u wished for :)

No you don't cook the egg. It has to be a raw egg. Let it stay in your hair for a few minutes, then rinse with cool water. You can also use mayonnaise as well if you don't want to mess with a yucky egg. Mayonnaise is basically all egg and fat. Good luck :)

It doesn't have to be cooked. But I believe you use the yolk as a shampoo, lathering, rinsing, and so on. I've washed my hair with egg several times, and it's very healthy for your hair actually.

you are supposed to use an egg that is raw. also when you do this make sure to rinse it out with cold water first before doing anything else to your hair (i.e. washing w shampoo and conditioner, warm water, hair products,...etc) reason for this is because if you were to use warm water to rinse out the raw egg then it would become clumpy, matted and harder to get out.
