It could be any number of things, from an allergic reaction to mono to cancer. The thing about those symptoms is that they are very generic in the sense that, they are your bodies immune systems way of fighting various viruses and diseases. The spots on your tongue could be an overgrowth of yeast that your body usually keeps in check called thrush. That however, is usually accompanied by a sore throat. I'm mostly worried that the symptoms have gone on for so long, that usually is indicative to something that needs serious medical treatment.
The best thing to do is to go to your doctor and get blood work done. Some basic tests should shed some light on the situation.
You can go on different medical sites all day, insert symptoms and scare yourself half to death. I recommend first ruling out the more serious diseases. Speak with a health professional and don't be afraid to be aggresive, your health is one of the important things in life and should be taken care of. I wish you well.

Never say never when it comes to STD's. I have no idea what you might have become infected with, however it sounds like it could be very serious. I would recommend you contact your doctor or a health clinic as soon as possible. If it is your lymph nodes, it could be very serious.
Either way, you should get in to see a doctor to get on medication to control and clear up what ever it is you have.
Good Luck.

Is it swollen, especially on the outside, kind of make you look like a chipmunk? I had that, only on both sides, and my throat wasn't as sore as the darned bumps which hurt like heck. Go to the doc or ER and have a rapid strep, 'cause I has a roaring case of Strep throat. A few days of antibiotics and it should be better. Sooner treated, sooner not infectious. Good luck and let me know.

Anything that has to do with your lymph nodes definately has to be checked out. Another cause may be if you have been sick or had an infection lately. That will cause the lymph nodes to swell.

Anything that lasts over a week should be evaluated by a doctor. It could be a strep infection, and they can be dangerous if not treated. Get some medical attention right away.

if the spots are white it could be strep throat, but it's weird that you do not have any pain. 6 weeks of swoolen glands warrants a call, if not a trip, to the doctor in my opinion.
