Nothing. It's just the smell that makes it different. Hair is hair. The only way it would thicken you hair if it was a type of shampoo that thickens hair.

It usually leaves your hair very dry or really oily men usually don't need all the other oils and mineral that our hair need to be healthy and shiny with all the treatment we do to it so I would stick with a good shampoo and conditioner. :)

there is no difference in the basic formula between mens shampoo and womens shampoo.. their shampoo jsut tends to have less conditioners in it, and a difference scent.
