We could, but it wouldn't be much fun. How about we all agree to be respectful of each other?

Look at it this way. As a Christian, I believe it is my duty to tell others my beliefs. I don't look down on you for what you believe- I believe you are wrong, but that you have the right to be. Think about how hard it is for a Christian to tell you about his faith; a person who believes in god is easily ridiculed in society today, and a Christian who believes in one way to heaven is a "judgemental, narrow sighted bigot" just because he believes God cared about him enough to die for him, and every other person in the world. We cannot shut up about this. I will not try to force you to believe, but I would love to tell you the truth. In the end, I might have to say that you can believe what you want because I can't change that, but it is not the same. Just think of it as a compliment that a Christian would care enough about you to tell you his beliefs, and possibly face all the put downs that come with that. But, I wholeheartedly aagree w/ you that ppl should not be ridiculed because of their beliefs.

As an atheist you know as well as I do that Christians will never leave us be.
The continuous push from the Christians on our government to enforce their religious doctrine is an insult to all non-Christians.

If you ask serious questions you usually get serious answers. Even from the Christian theists and the atheists.

Criticism and debate are very valuable to understanding one another and improving our own stances, but petty and vicious attacks don't make for healthy debate.

2 John 1
7For many deceivers are entered into the world, who confess not that Jesus Christ is come in the flesh. This is a deceiver and an antichrist.
8Look to yourselves, that we lose not those things which we have wrought, but that we receive a full reward.
9Whosoever transgresseth, and abideth not in the doctrine of Christ, hath not God. He that abideth in the doctrine of Christ, he hath both the Father and the Son.
10If there come any unto you, and bring not this doctrine, receive him not into your house, neither bid him God speed:
11For he that biddeth him God speed is partaker of his evil deeds.
